Our Company
Norman Pendred and Company (NPC), established in 1949 as a specialist designer and manufacturer of fresh food point of sale and display systems, has grown over the decades into a highly diversified expert in a variety of different fields.
NPC began life manufacturing and selling price and descriptive tickets for fresh food as well as point of sale promotional material. In 1990 the company diversified, under the leadership of Christopher Pendred, into water and humidification systems by creating the Pendred Moisture Maintenance and Water Systems division. This division develops, manufactures, installs and services moisture and humidification systems for fresh food retail customers, crop growers, supplier and retailers. The systems offer a number of proven benefits such as moisture/weight loss reduction and the promotion of life-sustaining natural re-hydration.
The business, now being led by Dr Julia Pendred, now boasts 4 divisions with H2o2go Carts and Bespoke Water being added to the Pentic POS/price ticketing and Water Systems businesses.
H2o2go Carts ts supplies mobile plant watering carts to major supermarkets and garden centres as well as to private homes, with Aldi, Homebase, Waitrose, Wilkinson and IKEA among its clients.
Bespoke Water is NPC’s newest division, utilising in-house industry knowledge and our vast experience in water filtration to provide reverse osmosis water systems to the UK and European speciality coffee market.
NPC continues to innovate to this day, something that we see as vital in order to upgrade our existing systems and pioneer new systems, providing our customers with industry leading equipment and services. Our commitment to this desire is illustrated by the recent completion of our Research and Development laboratory at our offices in South London.
